Puthenchira Community Health Centre (CHC Puthenchira), Thrissur District, Kerala situated just one km away from Puthenchira High School Junction which is easily accessible from any part of the village. It is well known health care and prevention centre to the common people from the nearby areas and villages of Puthenchira Panchayat.
This health institution started as a Primary Health Centre and upgraded as Community Health Centre a few years ago. Currently Puthenchira Community Health Centre (Puthenchira CHC) has 3 consultant doctors, 2 Health Supervisors and supporting staffs.
Sub-centers of Puthenchira Community Health Centre
CHC Puthenchira has three sub centers located different parts of Puthenchira village: Vellur, Karingachira, Kombathukadavu. These sub-centers are the most peripheral health unit and first contact point between the primary health care system and Puthenchira community. Puthenchira CHC sub-centers are assigned to perform tasks related to components of primary health care.
