We get the Karunya benevolent fund for my cardiac surgery in Sree Chithira hospital Trivandrum. But my surgery date has been postponed to January. The expire date of Karunya fund is on January 2nd. Is there any renewal for that? If it is needed then when it has been done? After expiry date or before? Please send a reply for it.

Our Karunya application is sanctioned on 23/7/18, amount INR 2,00,000.00 and this letter submitted to Kottayam medical college on 26/7/18. Operation (bypass surgery) date given by medical college on 15/11/18. Is there any need to renew the letter once it is submitted to hospital.

You may download add-member form from Kerala Civil Supplies Department website for inclusion of your name to your family ration card. Submit the filled-in form along with necessary documentation noted in the form.

According to their Ration Card Renewal FAQ, there will have facility for out-of-station citizen to submit their details online. But Civil Supplies department has not yet activated their website for online renewal process. Even after applying online, card owner should visit the Supply office for taking photo and identification verification.

I came across your organisation whilst researching the possibility of volunteering in India.
My husband and I are leaving the UK in March next year to embark upon a ‘Around the world in 800 days’ overland expedition. As well as travelling, we are extremely keen to get involved in local community and education projects in some of the countries we visit.
We are both teachers; my husband is an artist who has taught at an art school in the UK and established a collective and gallery to support young artists. I am a biologist and managed a field centre in the UAE, teaching Ecology and Wildlife Conservation.
We would like to offer our time for 2-4 weeks; we are willing to help out wherever needed but suggest the possibility of running educational courses or groups in our area or expertise. For myself, I could run a short course(s) on local environment and wildlife (collecting bugs, measuring plants, identifying birds). Andrew could run art workshops which could include drawing, painting, textiles, photography, woodwork and sculpture.
India is a country I have travelled in extensively and love it more everytime I visit. We will be travelling by boat from Iran then are planning to spend 2 months in India from Jan to February 2013. Kerala is a particulalry favourite state of mine and we are extremely keen to spend time in rural areas and help out a localcommunity where possible.
We have a roof tent on our vehicle and are completely self-sufficient so do not need any support. We are happy to raise money for any materials or equipment we may need.

Aadhaar card is not a compulsory or mandatory document for ongoing renewal process of ration card. If Aadhaar card is not yet received she can produce another valid photo ID proof such as Voter ID or Bank Pass book having photo etc.
This criteria is relevant and compulsory for the owner of the ration card. Other members, they can attach any ID proof or even without proof, Ration card will be issued.
Those accurate data required only for finding priority category.
If any authority insist for only Aadhaar card, as you said it will be considered as the violation of the Supreme court order issued last year.
You can contact your DSO/TSO for further steps. It is a curse that Govt. websites and mobile applications are not developed for the user perspective. So don't expect Govt. websites will solve your issues. Contact your concerned DSO/TSO/CRO office.
There were separate photo sessions for those who could not attend in the main campaign - one in your locality itself and after that concerned TSO/DSO offices. Your ration card may not be issued until you appeared for photo session. Better contact your TSO/DSO immediately for further information.
According to Civil Supplies Department, there will be a special photo session camps soon for those who was unable to attend the current ration card renewal campaign. It will be arranged one camp for 20 Ration shops. Department also arrange mobile units for bedridden citizen if medical certificate has been provided. Photo session camps may further be extended to TSO/DSO offices if required.

Department has not yet announced when will start application for making new ration card. It will be resumed after completion of ongoing process for ration card renewal.
Hi R Narayan Das, You are advised to apply for adding new members to your existing card. After completing all formalities, you will receive new ration card with current and updated member's details along with bar-code. You can use either online application or direct using paper application form. This link explains how to apply ration card online.
Expatriates can apply for ration card but to be personally appeared for verification of the documents at Supply office. Please read the 15th point in this link.
The current ration card renewal process allows only those who can personally reach at the camps where receiving filled in forms and photo capturing of the card owner. If you are unable to attend these camps, try to get the form from the ration shop through your relative and iform the situation to your DSO / TSO. During vacation, you can visit DSO /TSO to submit the filled in form with supportive documents. Just read the ration card renewal guidelines and FAQ for more details.
It is considered to be salary as cash payment, deposited in the bank account every month by the beneficiary itself. Get salary certificate from the company with all earnings and deductions if any, then apply for home loan. There seems no issue at all. The property title should be in the name of husband otherwise a co-borrower (wife, or close relative) needs to be joined.
Salary certificate should reflect your total earnings. The amount you receive as cash may not be accountable, means black money which can't be shown in a salary certificate. If you get salary certificate with 100% earnings, there is no issue at all but I doubt your company will issue salary certificate in such a manner since they hesitant to pay you 100% to the bank.
Try this way: Close your personal and two wheeler loan, then apply home loan by both of you through a joint account.
Salary Certificate Format: If your organization doesn't have specific format for employee salary certificate, download this format and use it.
After received new ration card, you can apply for inclusion of your son's name. The facility is currently frozen but you can give a hint to officials if you want. Utilize accuracy verification website and submit a request for it.
Try this way:
If he has been permanently shifted to your place, make a request in the correction box specifying "Inclusion of Son's Name: Name, Name (English)" etc. as order given in the second page and submit.
Don't think that the procedure has been completed. It will be an intimation to the officials. Correction doesn't mean inclusion of new name. Its a little bit lengthy procedure.
