Mala Kerala

MIL Controls Limited, a German KSB Group company has been a pioneer manufacturer of control valves, level instruments and accessories for nearly two decades. MIL Controls Limited started commercial production in 1984. It was originally known as Masoneilan (I) Limited.

Mala Aravindan, a famous Malayalam movie actor and comedian born in Thrissur, Kerala as the eldest son of Ayyappan, an Excise department employee and Ponnamma, a school teacher. Later, Mala Aravindan, migrated his location to Mala and started using the place name along with his name. Aravindan started his film career in 1968 movie Sindhooram, directed by Balakrishnan.

Mala Grama Panchayat is a Special Grade Panchayat consisting the following villages: Kuruvilassery Mala, Vadama Mala, Vadakumbhagam Mala, and Annalloor Mala. Boundaries of Mala Thrissur: Aloor Grama Panchayat (North); Annamanada Grama Panchayat, Chalakudy Municipality, Kadukutty Grama Panchayat (East); Kuzhur Grama Panchayat, Poyya Grama Panchayat (South); Puthenchira Grama Panchayat (West)
